Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant will support doctors and consultants in patient assessment, clinical documentation, treatment coordination, and routine hospital care activities. This is suitable for BHMS or BAMS candidates with strong clinical understanding and hospital workflow knowledge. The candidate will assist in OPD, IPD, ward rounds, patient follow-ups, and coordination with nursing and diagnostic teams while ensuring accurate records, timely communication, and patient-centered support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and consultants during patient examination, treatment planning, and clinical procedures.
• Record patient history, symptoms, vital signs, clinical observations, and treatment updates accurately.
• Support OPD, IPD, ward, and emergency care activities as per doctor instructions.
• Prepare patients for examination, consultation, minor procedures, and follow-up visits.
• Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, billing, and administration teams for patient services.
• Maintain patient files, investigation reports, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
• Explain basic care instructions, follow-up schedules, and hospital processes to patients and attendants.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes or concerns to doctors promptly.
• Assist in arranging medical instruments, examination materials, reports, and clinical supplies.
• Support doctors during rounds by maintaining patient status updates and pending task lists.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and respectful communication during clinical interactions.
• Support emergency response activities under the guidance of doctors and senior staff.
• Follow hospital protocols related to infection control, hygiene, safety, and patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and clinical records.
• Help improve clinical workflow through timely coordination, documentation, and follow-up.
