Cadila Pharmaceuticals is seeking a senior procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing and supply of APIs and intermediates. The involves developing strategic sourcing plans, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support manufacturing operations. The candidate will play a key in cost management, regulatory compliance, and supply risk mitigation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement and production continuity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for APIs and intermediates to ensure long-term supply security and cost efficiency
• Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials to support production schedules and avoid operational disruptions
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and long-term collaboration
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and long-term agreements
• Monitor global API market trends to manage cost fluctuations and mitigate supply risks proactively
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and achieve annual procurement savings targets
• Ensure sourcing from approved vendors in compliance with GMP standards and internal quality policies
• Collaborate with QA and Regulatory teams to ensure availability of required documentation such as DMF, COA, and compliance records
• Ensure timely delivery of materials through effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams
• Work closely with logistics teams for import management, shipment tracking, and customs clearance processes
• Monitor inventory levels and supplier lead times to support efficient production planning
